Swimming
If you just can't make it to the team swim workouts, there are four pools on campus that UCLA Students can use to swim. At Sunset Canyon Recreation Center, you will find the both a 50m and 25yd pool, to do satisfy whatever your needs are for a specific workout. All our team workouts are held at the SAC pool, a state of the art training facility. If that still isn't enough, you can walk up to Kaufman Hall where you will find the North Pool, which some consider the school's best kept secret.

For hours of operation please see the Open Recreational Swimming Times.

Also, if you are new to swimming or need a refresher course, you can refer to Grant Hackett and Ian Thorpe's Swimming Technique.

Biking
Despite the consensus of LA traffic and road conditions, LA is one of the most resourceful places to ride in Southern California. Whether you are looking to go short or long, flat or hilly, you can have it. Below are just some of our favorite routes. If it's your first time out and you are unfamiliar with the area, send an email out to the Yahoo Group and ride with a buddy.

If you are still looking for a bike to ride, or just need some advice, read Brent Kious' Intro to Cycling.
